Spirit Care Ministry
The Spirit Care Ministry is a ministry that touches the heart of God. It is a ministry, which is part of the Center for Ministerial Care, with headquarter in Cleveland, Tennessee. The Spirit Care Ministry is dedicated to provide assistance to retired ministers, their wives and widows of the Delmarva-DC region.
Many ministers who are retired were not prepared for retirement. Most of them did not have the income to even consider monies being set aside for retirement. Many worked extra jobs, as well as, pastoring small congregations, in order to survive. Much of what they made was put back into their churches. Today, many of these wonderful warriors for Christ, who did not prepare, are living in adverse circumstances.
The Delmarva-DC Spirit Care Ministry stands ready to assist. This is accomplished by:
Providing financial assistance when needed.
Providing adoption programs, for each of our retirees and widows for the
Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, seeing that they are greatly blessed.
Keeping our retired ministers informed quarterly, of events taking place
throughout the Delmarva-DC region and in the lives of their peers, as well
as, the General Church.
Making personal contacts to each of the retirees and widows, making sure
they are doing well and to give them encouragement.
Providing special gifts during Christmas holidays, as well as, at other
events.
It has been our pleasure over the years to serve our retired ministers, wives and widows making them feel loved and appreciated.
